2 Healthy Korean Dishes to Try at Home with Organic Ingredients

1- Organic Vegan Kimbap

Kimbap or Gimbap is one of the most popular dishes in Korea. Most kimbap includes meat, but this recipe includes only vegan ingredients since we're making a vegan Kimbap. Scroll down to view the instructions and directions.


  • Organic Seaweed - 4 Papers
  • Organic sushi rice - 2 cups
  • Organic Cucumber - 1
  • Organic Carrot - 1
  • Organic Spring Onion - 1
  • Organic Green Chilies - 1
  • Organic Spinach - 1
  • Organic Garlic - 1 teaspoon
  • Organic sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Pickled cucumber or radish gherkins
  • Water - 4 cups
  • Salt - to taste


  • Pour the water into a saucepan and boil.
  • Thoroughly wash organic sushi rice and add it to the saucepan.
  • Add some salt and cook sushi rice until extremely soft.
  • Drain the water and place cooked organic sushi rice in a bowl.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of organic sesame oil to the bowl of rice and mix it well.
  • Chop spring onions, cucumber, carrot, green chilies, and spinach and set aside.
  • Take a sushi mat and place it on the counter.
  • Take a seaweed paper, place the shiny side on top of the sushi mat.
  • Place some cooked organic sushi rice on it and spread evenly.
  • Add finely chopped spring onions, cucumber, carrot, green chilies, spinach on top of the rice and spread evenly.
  • Add pickled cucumber or radish gherkins.
  • With the support of the sushi mat, roll up the seaweed to form a roll.
  • Slice the roll into equal pieces.
  • Serve and enjoy!

2- Organic Bibimbap

  • Organic Rice - 2 cups
  • Organic Tofu - 8 oz. (Cubed)
  • Corn starch - 2 tablespoon
  • Organic sesame oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Mushrooms - 2 cups (sliced)
  • Organic Carrot - 1 (Grated)
  • Organic Cucumber - 1 (Grated)
  • Organic Green Onion - 2 (sliced into rings)
  • Organic radishes - 5 (cut into thin slices)
  • Organic Spinach- 3 cups
  • Garlic - 1 clove (cut into thin slices)
  • Organic sesame seeds - 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 2 ½ teaspoons
  • Cayenne Pepper - To Taste
  • Salt - To Taste
  • Gochujang paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 2 cups


  • Make the Gochujang sauce by adding the gochujang paste, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, the rice vinegar, and the maple syrup in a small bowl and stirring until mixed well.
  • Boil water and cook the rice.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a saucepan. Roll the tofu cubes in corn starch and fry in the sesame oil. Add the soy sauce and cook for one minute. Add the sesame seeds. Pour the mixture into a bowl.
  • In the same saucepan, start by cooking mushrooms on high heat. Add garlic after 3 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon soy sauce and set the mixture aside.
  • Pour 2 tablespoons of water into the pan. Add spinach, carrot, cucumber, radishes, and green onions. Stir for a couple of minutes until the vegetables are soft. Cook for about 2 minutes or until the spinach wilts. Add salt, cayenne pepper, and ½ teaspoon soy sauce.
  • Take out the mixture in a bowl and sprinkle sesame seeds on the top.
  • Add rice to a bowl, and add tofu mixture and veggies mixture.
  • Sprinkle it with sesame seeds and enjoy!
